New Vista ISO download after using Daemon Tools 4.03 for vir

After reviewing, the related "the new vista iso download" posts 6-10-06". I was able to access the iso (that is on my local drive c:) via Daemon tools 4.03 and received the standard window vista install now screen. I have accessed all other areas from this iso "display" successfully, less starting the install.
should
i be concerned that the iso image. will be lost from my c driive when i start the install from windows xp-sp2 home ?
also, i have backed up with io/omega are the any issues that i should be concerned of if i have to restore ?
like wise, should i be concerned about norton, webroot, adware and/or system mechanic 6

for everyone out their, the daemon tools 4.03 allowed the virtual drive to be installed from, no problem off of c drive / folder
no product key issues; had orig from down load + email
at the on set the install informed me that norton and msn (client) wouldnt work which was cool, wished i removed norton before i stated the install.
next on the install (total time) 2.0 hours (1) copying files (ran great) (2) gathering (took a long time, thought it was hung) (3) expanding (ran reasonably good) --- auto restart (4) install feat (ran good) --- auto restart (5) complete (took forever) - thought i was dead in the water - auto restart (5a) complete (finshed off) - auto restart
next section about 1.5 hours product came up clean, signed on some general issues (first time through as my account /desktop was being set up
(1) norton tried to be active (2) webroot tried to be active (3) iomega tried to be active (4) 1,2,3 significant pain during first time through
(a) once 1,2,3 were some what resolved (cancel, disable) (b) desktop, font and setting had to be reset from 6 (128) to 32 (96) (large to sm) everything looked ok on the 17 in nbook screen (thought i had syst issues) (c) once desktop was resolved a lot of allows, were requested (d) once allows were resolved - searched for drive up dates - via control panel and installed where applicable (e) at this point in time everything seemed stable, did a user sign out and shut down. restart
(I) came back in 1,2,3 again (gave me a headache - but i didnt do anything yet) (II) started running acid test; network, shares, accessability, hardware etc all was in order.......cool (III) started playing with vista, liked it, liked what i saw....then a surprise (IV) having msoffice p/e 2003 previously installed under a xp-sp2 config (V) windows installer started for msoffice p/e 2003 a) tried the standard - ok pull out the cd for the cab b) cab couldnt be accessed off of drive e c) action error on key (registry/relationship) couldnt be updated action error (vI) cancelled out of it (vII) accessed all related msoffice prdcts, word, excel, ppt, access, fpage, publisher no problem (viii) windows installed started again from point 5. repeated point six again. (ix) installer seamed to go to sleep, log off recycled box went in again
Final
set of notes: f1 came back in 1,2,3 again (gave me a headache - but i didnt do anything yet) f2 the windows installer from heck - came back again (unresolved) and again and again f3 instead of playing with compatability issues, resintalls and other odds and ends i opted to back out (didnt want to spend a couple of hours exploring a resol) though i was tempted and liked what i saw - but 30 minutes versus 120-180 min made sense at 2:15 a f4 restored original systems image, before vista and called it a day (kinda happy i had the image) product looks nice,
